Voyage with the Vikings by Marianne Hering

Focus on the Family, present. His most interesting invention is the Imagination Station, a sort of time travel machine, which he uses to send cousins Patrick and Beth on various missions back in time. The missions range from educational meeting George Washington to fulfilling requests from the past finding a Viking sunstone or mysterious goblet. He then sends them to a particular time and place…in costume. For instance, Patrick and Beth stop and pray when they get in trouble.

We have all of their audio cd compilations and they have accompanied us on all of our road trips…or just going to town trips. Our kids also love to read and when we saw there was a new book series based on the Imagination Station, I was on Amazon immediately to check them out. We ordered the newest book, Problems in Plymouth to read together and were hooked! The Imagination Station books were written to introduce early elementary readers to the world of Adventures in Odyssey.
