Times tables activity book - Usborne

Math-terpieces

One of the greatest challenges for many elementary kids is mastering the times tables. And while there are tons of ways to make it fun, one of the best ways is to engage kids with math stories. Using books to introduce or teach multiplication concepts can help ease kids fears, as well as show them math in real life situations. And once they master the facts? Learning and understanding division is not quite so scary!

Math is serious business, right? Not in the hands of Greg Tang! Not only does he play with language, he makes playing with math and math concepts fun and games — literally. So crack open a book and let the games begin! Multiplication facts from 0 to 10 have never been as easy to understand and memorization can actually become fun as with this collection of rhymes. Computer-generated art adds to the presentation in lively style.

If teaching multiplication, I would use this book in my class and keep it as a reference for students to use if they need a refresher.
